Let me introduce myself, my name is zac, and I was born
on the 1st of December 1995, and I’m a smooth coated
border collie. I live on a farm on the edge of the lake
district, where I work both cattle and sheep. At weekends I
travel to the Cheviot hills in Scotland to help on a hill farm.
I am now retired from sheepdog trials, but in the past I had
reasonable success in open trials, and have competed in
three English National sheepdog trials. My handler is Sue,
otherwise known as she who
must be obeyed, (although I don’t always). She says that
I am the first dog that she has trained up to sheepdog trial
standard, ( so I can’t help it if I don’t always get it right, it’s
her fault for not knowing what she was doing, when she
was training me).
I have some mates who live on the farm
with me and you can find out about them, and any puppies
that we have, by clicking on the dogs or puppies link at the
top of the page.
In the gallery there are photo’s which should feature
sheepdogs and trialling, but I have a sneaky suspicion,
that Sue (she who must be obeyed) is going to put some
photo’s of other subjects in there, heaven knows what
you’ll find! Because she photographs everything that
moves, and anything that doesn’t!
