Holly’s 2nd litter, born 15 / 05 / 03
Scot Anderson’s Sweep had been competing the
2004 - 2005 Dumfrisshire Nursery League and
had been placed in a couple of them.
Sweep has now been sold, and I have now lost
track of him.
Colin Armstrong managed to buy Nell when she was about 15 months old. He is currently
running her in the Dumfries & Kirkudbright Nursery’s, where they have excelled. Colin and
Nell won the first five nursery trials, and now cannot be beaten in the league, and so will
be the captain of the Dumfries & Kirkudbright Nursery team.
I kept Queen from this litter and she is a wonderful work dog and I had hoped to trial her,
but whenever I took her onto the trial field she seemed to lose all her confidence.
Queen passed her eye test on the 4th of August 2005.
Holly bred three litters of puppies, the first of which were unregistered. In three litters
she produced 29 puppies and reared 26 of them. Her second litter have been very
successful. Below are just some of her offspring that I know about.
Midge was sold as a pup to Charlie Bunting who reared her and started her training,
he then sold her to Willie Jardine from Ayrshire who has continued her training and
started to run her in open trials.
Colin Armstrong’s Roy had a great trials season in 2004 - 2005 with the Dumfriesshire
nursery league, winning or being placed at most of the trials that were held, Colin
finished the season being captain of the Dumfriesshire team in the nursery finals.
They also had a few placing’s in open trials. Roy has now been sold to J. McDougal
from Perthshire who has also won points in open trials with Roy.
