Bobby Dalziel & Joe at Colmonell trial
Cheviot Jamie wins his 1st open trial.
Cheviot Jamie the dog Sue bred ( Fern x
Nike ), who is eleven months old, has just
won his first open trial, on the 26th March
2006, it was the hill trial at Etterick, and he
won it in fine style, Jamie scored 95
points out of 100, which was 10 points
more than the dog that was placed second.
Jamie has since won and been placed in
numerous open trials.
I have now been retired from sheepdog trialling.
I injured my shoulder whilst moving some cattle
and it has never really mended properly, I’m OK
but when I have to do a lot of running I soon start to
limp, Sue decided the time had come for me to be
retired, so I now only have to work very occasionally.
Zac retires from competition
